Kcore 0 Posted February 27, 2014 NATO noob here I'm considering. a leather NATO for my newly purchased Steinhart Ocean 1 Vintage but know nothing about sizes? Every NATO I look at gives what looks to be a " total" length measurement? I'm very comfortable with 125/75 or 125/80 size straps. I don't like a lot of tail after my keepers. My wrist is approx. 6.5" Can I please get some education and suggestions from the NATO gurus! Thx! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Wriggles 12 Posted February 27, 2014 Havent got one but been looking at various different places to source some for my new Seagull. I think the idea is that whatever tail you have left wraps back into the keepers, so I'm guessing they're all roughly same length. Could get bulky though if they are very long. (Leather options - http://natostrapsco....her-natos-zulus) They seem to only have products measured in lug width though - guessing other suppliers go into more detail so not sure if this will help.
