dave47 6,509 Posted March 10, 2014 Hi, Gang! For the start of a new week (and a step closer to Spring), my very first Seiko 5 Sportsmatic, purchased at the BX (Base Exchange) @ Clark Air Base, Philippines, in late 1967. I needed a new watch, saw these good looking watches being worn by others; never heard of "Seiko" but thought I'd give one a try. After 40+ years, it's still going strong & was overhauled and cleaned only once. It's on a new TT jubilee provided by the family jeweler/watchsmith. She's great! dave: (BTW: day is wrong, obviously.) Using it as a gym watch sounds like a good idea
