Hey Baxter, where did you get your AP leather strap and for how much if you don't mind me asking. I'll like to replace my rubber strap.

Hi, Gang!

For the start of a new week (and a step closer to Spring), my very first Seiko 5 Sportsmatic, purchased at the BX (Base Exchange) @ Clark Air Base, Philippines, in late 1967. I needed a new watch, saw these good looking watches being worn by others; never heard of "Seiko" but thought I'd give one a try. After 40+ years, it's still going strong & was overhauled and cleaned only once. It's on a new TT jubilee provided by the family jeweler/watchsmith. She's great! dave: (BTW: day is wrong, obviously.)

I have the same watch, Gordon & use it as my gym watch. Rugged "little" thing, isn't it? Really great 'bang-for-the-buck."

Yeah as I said you can't got wrong for a tenner. The quality of its pretty good and the printing on the dial is excellent.

Using it as a gym watch sounds like a good idea
