Conex 0 Posted March 13, 2014 Does anybody know if the Project X and Pro hunter Subs are supposed to have the Rolex crown etched at 6? The reason I ask is obviously both these watches are customized and on some of the customizations the glass is flat without the cyclops so one would assume is may not be original Rolex glass and it would therefore stand to reason there would not be a Rolex crown etched on them ( perhaps just a tiny X on the Project X's). Anyone care to comment? I am obviously aware that Rolex do make Submariners with no dates so therefore no cyclops. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Conex 0 Posted March 13, 2014 For anyone interested, i have managed to find the answer to my own question. ProHunter Subs have the crown etched at 6 like any normal modern Sub and the Project X Military Subs do not as they are a homage to the early Subs pre-etch (I am talking about the ones with the crown guards filed down).
