Connor 0 Posted May 6, 2013 Great post, very informative. I'm a noob and looking forward to being broke by building a descent collection. Of course I'm over the moon about the Daytona, but I am terrified of their reliability. I also favor sporty watches made by Omega, and Breitling. I've owned two reps in the past a Sub and a TAG, the tag was a descent $150 rep but the strap designs on the SS rub me the wrong way. Any advice is welcome, I think I'll begin with one of these to start. http://silix-prime.so/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=116_231&products_id=3869

stozzer 0 Posted May 6, 2013 Oh and connor I got that omega a couple years back and its good for the price. The ss braclet was impossible to move links from so its on leather but doesnt get too much time on the wrist.
dbk123 0 Posted May 6, 2013 Hi fellow awesome people, I started as a representative for Fossil watches in high school as a weekend job. From there I learned how awesome watches were and my mother would occasionally let me wear the Breitling (I think Cockpit) to school. Since then, I have been looking for something as amazing as that piece, but found nothing. I have had a rep Omega GMT that was really amazing but the website which it was purchased from is shut down. The information that you guys have provided so far is amazingly helpful and I really appreciate the website and all of the contributing members here.

Amish 0 Posted May 21, 2013 Greetings. New guy here. I am big into movie props etc and was looking to get a few replicas watches and started my research and wanted to find reputable dealers and found this site. Nightbird 0 Posted May 28, 2013 Had a question pop up in my head and hopefully all the seniors may be able to chip in. If more than 1TD has different price/offer on the same watch, how does one decide as to who to order from??I'm talking in the range of $30-$50 for the same watch with a similar shipping method.Would the cheaper piece be compormised in some way or are the TD's just keen to not let any deal slip through? Now,I'm sure that some TD's might have an edge when it comes to a particular brand/s over others, it would be helpful to know that though so to place orders accordingly. I apologize if it was not appropriate to ask, but as we all have starting points and there are always unknowns and uncertainties that a new member faces and I look upon this awesome group for answers after I have done my part of trying to look for them!!! I don't intend to undermine your reputation, but sometimes a query that may seem very simple and almost silly may not seem the same to a beginner. flyr 4 Posted May 29, 2013 Not wanting to put words in dings mouth, I believe he meant that you should pick your dealer first by reputation or whatever criteria you want to use then see if he can get the watch you want. Your choice in dealer (trust wise) is more important, as they all can usually get the same stock. Some charge less but will your buying experience be equal? Your choice in dealer (trust wise) is more important, as they all can usually get the same stock. Some charge less but will your buying experience be equal? I appreciate the clarification. You mentioned"pick your dealer by reputation or whatever criteria".That is exactly what I am trying to do but obviously since I have never dealt with any, I wouldn't know those factors about a TD.My choice in dealer/s at this stage would be a mere guessing game based on few reads and reviews and pick and choose method, but the experienced members would obviously know who sources the best Omega or PAM or Rolex as each TD would have a speciality. That was the intent of my query. My buying experience is zero at the moment and hence I was merely looking for some opinions. But from what I have read and come across, most TD's are reputable however, in some cases it could be hit and miss too!!Nonetheless, there is so much more to learn about reps and I guess in due time that will happen!! stash2 0 Posted June 10, 2013 As we grow, there are all kinds of questions that the noobs seem to ask. Instead of one of us trying to search our way through all the pertinent threads and posting them in the shoutbox, I figured I would start a thread and include all the basic info a noob needs to read. This will be a sticky and therefore quick to find and post so that all are in one place.
