TRANSPORTER 1 Posted March 29, 2014 Cheers guys its going to be a long and slow project, I want to get it right, as for the price I saw that aswell and was quite shocked, I've got to go back to the watchsmith today and Monday as he said he has a load more odds and sods that he wants to give to me to work on and practice with, believe me his shop is totally rammed full with watches and movements and god knows what else. TRANSPORTER 1 Posted April 2, 2014 Oh I will dont worry, she desperately needs a new crystal though, I'm happy for an aftermarket one to be fitted, even an acrylic one if neccasary, I've got my cousins catalogue are these the best place to source an aftermarket crystal from, and a mainspring and obviously a new stem and poss crown as the stem had snapped. Stem and crown I can get off the bay the spring from cousins it's the crystal and gasket which are giving me the problems at the moment, oh that prioritising what watch to start first, I've a 16619a movement that needs a spring and case, trying to find a case that it will fit in, then I've got my 7002-7001 which I want to mod and was the first project but you know what it's like when you get an idea in your head haha Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
