Not complaining, just sharing the frustration ;) It was a gift, so cannot complain :P

This should help removing the sticky stuff....

White spirit, turps or nail varnish remover on a cloth will all remove it. Or WD40.

Before the acetone, goo gone, WD40, etc...I would try the least invasive first...

Try a hair blow dryer first. Maybe it will peel off easily sans the mess.

WD40 did the trick, sprayed a bit on, let it soak into the label leftovers, then a minute later, it wiped right off :)

Sticky labels and tape .. Pain in the fucking arse

Man can put a man on the moon , dive to the deepest depths of the oceans , perform surgical feats that boggle the science world . But !!

" He cant make a label or tape so you can just peel the fucker off "

Arhhhhhhhhhh i feel better now .

Post-it notes have non-sticky leaving strips, you would think there would be labels with the same backing Dal.
