For example, is there a factory that specializes in producing PAM, Graham's or UBoat's? Also, how many different factories.are there? Thx for any advice offered. mysterio 18 Posted April 19, 2014 Being new to this hobby, it would be best to know more before plunging headlong into ordering. There are many makers (or factories, which is a misnomer since they do not actually make the parts, they assemble/make the reps) and not all of them have names because they do not make enough reps to "earn" it. Grahams and Uboats are not that commonplace and their makers are unknown (to me anyway). For PAMs, which are one of the more popular brands, there are (listed in no particular order) Noob, H-Factory, KW, Z-Factory, DSN and some others. Sometimes a model is specific to a maker, sometimes there are two or more makers. This information won't be handed to you on a plate, you must research and find out for yourself. That is half the fun, like buying a car. Do your due diligence and your first buying experience will have a high chance of being a happy one. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
