debian 0 Posted August 27, 2010 I think I need another planet ocean. a black non chrono with white numbers... I have a orange chrono 45.5mm with the sunken datewindow. How big does the size difference between the XL and the non XL versions feel. 42mm VS 45.5mm? 42mm is not a small watch.... but the 45.5mm doesn't feel so big as it is. On the gen chrono, do you need to unscrew the chrono pushers before you can push them? why is the rep smaller version thicker than the XL verision? 15 VS 13mm but the gen XL is 15 and the gen smaller version is 14mm Best regards! debian 0 Posted August 29, 2010 To many question at once? Ok, I'll ask them one at the time On the gen PO Chrono, do you need to unscrew the chrono pushers before you can activate the chronograph?
onzenuub 309 Posted August 29, 2010 The answer could be written in here: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...p?showtopic=
debian 0 Posted August 29, 2010 Found this video of what seem to be the gen, it has not the sunken date-window and the chrono pushers appears to be on the correct place. He does not need to unscrew the chrono pushers to be able to push them, so the rep is correct on this point. that feels nice.
Ska 11 Posted August 29, 2010 Yup no screw down chrono's for omega. Love this watch. It was my first. I wonder if they'll ever release a new version with those issues fixed?

debian 0 Posted September 1, 2010 I can answer my own question about how the size difference feel... The 42mm model feel really small, compared to the 45mm PO. I went to my local AD to try them on the other day. The salesman told me that the bigger is by far the most popular one. Now it is only one question left why is the rep smaller version thicker than the XL verision? 15 VS 13mm but the gen XL is 15 and the gen smaller version is 14mm
debian 0 Posted September 1, 2010 Ok, It might be a silly question. 15 vs 13 mm might not feel much on the height....
Silverspeed 10 Posted September 1, 2010 Many reps have incorrect case thickness, mostly because of the movement used in our reps. The Omega Co-Axial movement is probably thinner than a 2824/2836 used in the rep.
debian 0 Posted September 3, 2010 How many versions of the Planet ocean XL non chrono has there been until the current Ultimate version? I know there is a v4, is the Ultimate version v5? For how long has the Ultimate version been around? Any rumors about an even more Ultimate version coming?
