Kastra10 0 Posted April 23, 2014 Hello. Signed up in August 2013. But after many hours of reading threads, I decided to take a part of this forum. Looking forward to get to know you guys and getting my very own collection! I study finance and work in a brokerfirm. Since I wear suit everyday, dressy watches is something im looking for. AP 15400 for example... Tips?
Daywatch 4 Posted April 23, 2014 Hi and welcome to posting. The AP15400 is a wonderful watch. Just perfect and thin with the Myota movement (but for the time being difficult to get with everything aligned). Others I like are the Vacheron Constantin Overseas (again choose the thinnest available), the JLC master Geographique Dual Time with the 23j movement and the IWC Laureus Sports ...... Moving away from he typical office watch I find the Tudor Blackbay, Omegas and Breitlings good ways to go too.

lollandster 0 Posted April 23, 2014 I recently ordered a AP 15400 myself. I'm yet to receive it. I ordered one with ETA movement so it's a bit tick, but no one I know even knows what an Audemars Piguet is anyways. Ha en god dag.
George. 34 Posted April 23, 2014 Welcome! 15400 is a superb rep to get started with. RG YG and SS all have their merits. Best of luck!

Pseudonym 0 Posted April 23, 2014 Hello & welcome. If you are looking for a dress watch, close to gen in aesthetics, and of excellent quality, look at the SW200 variant of the Patek Philippe Nautilus. P.

lollandster 0 Posted April 24, 2014 Just ordered the AP 15400 Miyota from Toro. Can`t wait! I just checked that one out and damn that looks good. Engraving on the movement and thinner rubber gasket between the bezel and the case than on mine. Now I which I ordered that one instead... If i lie down in the bed and stare at the ceiling long enough, maybe the urge will go away?

marressey 0 Posted April 29, 2014 Feeling a bit impatient.. Some folks here from Scandinavia who have ordered from Toro? How many days took it? Good choice of TD. Toro is my favourite (and main supplier). Well, shipping time to Scandinavia (where I am) has been real varied. One package came within 7 days of payment sent. Another came almost three weeks later. Patience, son. You'll need a lot of that in this hobby....
