Derek Mc 1 Posted April 30, 2014 I have to admit after finding this forum I saw the real depth of love and knowledge for replicas present here, and I decided I wanted to get a piece of that action!!!! I debated for days before pulling the trigger and I will NO DOUBT be criticised for doing what I did, but I went BP, for two factual reasons and one TD type reason over Noob 1. I prefer the matte bezel 2. I love the visible AR 3. I think Andrew at Trusty time is a truly great guy! 4. Revised and centred pearl 5. Fade resistant new ceramic bezel 6. Longer screw down bezel threads I went Asian rather than ETA after reading about the possible reliability issues so pulled the trigger. The entire process was stressful but not nearly as bad as when I had gone out to non TD's myself, as I knew Andrew would take care of me, and, send the watch! I paid and three days after got the QC pics, they were spot on, so about five days after that I got the tracking number it left China via HK 21st April and is on my wrist as I write this. I am delighted it is a truly beautiful watch, so, here are a few unboxing shots! plus a gratuitous wristie as well After sizing, and GOD! my eyes are getting poor with age! I used a Loupe to ensure I didn't mark the strap at all Hope you like it!
toehh 0 Posted April 30, 2014 Hope you like it! Holy F man, this is a wonderful shot. To me the bezel looks way better too on this one. If I would order a CrPO it would be the BP version too! Very nice
Derek Mc 1 Posted April 30, 2014 The bezel has been fixed for durability, and the pearl is now perfectly centred, Also! The crown is sorted it takes a good two turns to undo and lock down. All in despite much advice to the contrary I am like a dog with two d***s over this one, its pretty near perfection

prtscn 0 Posted October 25, 2014 Is the new BP's bezel color similar to the gen? Yes, it is flawlessly close to gen Thanks for the reply bud. So the only significant difference between BP and noob now would merely be the AR and bezel color am i right?

So the only significant difference between BP and noob now would merely be the AR and bezel color am i right? AR colour, plus the DW print is built up slightly more on Noob (think thicker silver ink) where it is white on BP bezel colour is really the same on ceramic, can't comment on liquid metal however,, Omega engraving on clasp is slightly heavier on the Noob bu movement detail is better on BP (unles you go Miota then all bet's are off,,,,,
