sugaray 0 Posted August 30, 2010 Hello guys, I want to buy my Girlfriend a nice rep, but she has a skin allergy which means she can not wear anything plated...even rohidum plate. I was wondering if any on here knows if 316 stainless steel or the chanel ceramic is safe. Thank you
KBH 7 Posted August 30, 2010 Maybe Allergy Doc will see this one. Or you could PM him. I would think ceramic would be the safest. I've never heard of anyone allergic to glass.
Ska 11 Posted August 30, 2010 316L Stainless steel is almost completely hypoallergenic. It should be fine as its technically surgical steel . But like KBH said, PM AllergyDoc. (He's an Allergy Doc after all)
sugaray 0 Posted August 30, 2010 The only thing I dont like with the ceramic is that you can break it...rather eaisly if your not carefull.
AllergyDoc 40 Posted August 30, 2010 She should be okay with the "316L" reps. Let her wear one of yours for a day, see what happens.
