Current best 45.5 Omega PO Available??

Recommended Posts

Waipio Jeff

I have been out of the PO game for a few years but need to find one for a friend to replace his older 45mm Pumpkin PO. Seems confusing with all the new releases with the clear caseback, liquid metal markings on the back or not, ceramic bezel, new Myota P8000 movements, etc. The usual TD sites have them all and I just want to help him find a great version with a high quality bracelet.

ANY help appreciated.

If 45.5, then go for Noob CrPO or wait for comparison between new Miyota one and Noob.

I recently got the 45.5 Ceramic/TI/Liquid Metal from Andrew at Trusty Time. Noob and haven't had time to do a complete writeup - I'll will probably just post pics (thats all thats needed). Its a stunning watch though. It's a BP, yes the blue bezel is slightly muted if that makes sense but really a great watch and Andrew made sure everything was perfect. Oh by the way I went with the swiss eta. I'll post back a pic.

That model has the miyota 8215 movement with the same price as a noob crPO.

Depends you prefer high beat or low beat with closer decorated movement

I'm also looking for the same watch. Does anyone have a direct link to the best PO

Also I am rather new to this so the terms BP, means?

CRPO I'm guessing is ceramic planet ocean.

Also why would a noob be better than a factory which had already been producing? Various posts seem to make out that noobs are better in many instances.

Sorry for lowering the tone! Haha just want to know it all

Sorry for what is probably an obvious question. This watch seems quite popular so do the factories stop making these due to a new version on the horizon. Such as this new Miyota based version?

I think no need to wait, I have not seen a single good pearl on AT makers Miyota ones...but of course if Noob is not available, then you have to rethink.

Some dealers told me there still are some models of the Noob CRPO in stock, while others say that is impossible.

Very strange if you ask me. I wonder how long i takes for Noob to re stock them.

Its more than a bit frustrating. I think in the future I will ask if they can get it and if they cant after they say they can will they issue a full refund.

Still frustrated. The 8215 movement is not that great sometimes they stutter.

Stay away from that 8215 version, looks good but movement is a turd, you can still get a noob version, there out there somewhere

Noobs have been out of stock for a while now. They're awesome and were snapped up quickly. I'd guess a new batch is 6-8 weeks away if not sooner.
