jeffrsho 0 Posted May 6, 2014 I found this for sale locally and I am interested in it but something is sticking out and telling me it's a rep. Can anyone come in and let me know what they think, I really don't want to waste my time if it is indeed a rep. The seller Is willing to meet at a dealer to authenticate it, but conveniently for him he works 8-8 tomorrow. Anyway, here are a few pics that I have of the watch. Any help is appreciated! Take it to a Dealer (not a jewelry store - they have no clue) As them to remove the case back and examine the movement. If it is Rep - he pays the fee (usually about $75) and you go home If it is Gen - you pay the fee and buy the watch. Pearl looks wrong, bezel numbers not thick enough, Rolex crown on dial the pointed arms look longer and the base is skinnier, the space between ft = m not spaced enough, crown guards do look off from the pics but not a clear shot and hour hand looks wrong. zero_deficit 0 Posted May 6, 2014 10,000% a Noob v2. Only Noob v1 and v2 have that bezel insert font - easiest tell is the 3 on the '30', where it's sorta curved and way too thin. BP and even many cheap canal street reps don't suffer from that problem. It's not a v1 as it has the updated skinny hour hand. So instead I decided to go with this yachtmaster as it just caught my eye. Here are a couple of quick shots. I'll post some more in-depth shots later.
