question on return, or better suggestion

I got two reps but one needs to go back for a poor dial marker. The line dot has a very visible black smudge.

 

Would it be better to send to someone to relume in the US, or shipping it back to the dealer?

 

I've never had to return a watch so I'm not sure what the protocol is or how long it takes them.

 

Dealer told me to use registered air mail instead of ems or FedEx to avoid customs. Is this basically sending it via USPS?

Find someone local to do a relume. Rep lume is probably poor anyway so why risk it to send back to possibly have it resolved without further issue when you can get it relumed - two birds one stone
