breitman 0 Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) I scooped up a 3777 on M2M and immediately noticed that the rotor was not spinning. Upon unscrewing the back, it seemed that the rotor was rubbing protective cover [not the screw down back]. I tried to back the cover off, but there was still rubbing even when it was just lightly sitting atop the movement. To get everything working as expected i have temporarily fully removed the cover and screwed down the back. Is it risky to leave it in this state or should I continue to troubleshoot? There is nothing more satisfying that hearing the rotor whirl through 5+ revs from a slight flick of the wrist Thanks! JSJ 0 Posted May 21, 2014 Something clearly not right and removing the plate is not a fix. Is the rotor loose? Is the movement loose/not fitted correctly? Does the plate look flush when you fit it? And the spinning you can hear for 5+ revs is freewheeling. It only winds one way. A few pics inside the watch might help us to diagnose.
