tick tock 0 Posted September 7, 2010 After reading some of the other posts on the mesh watch band on the SOH V2 being somewhat large I started to scour the internet in search of a smaller mesh band and I came across this site. The listed prices are very ebay-esque and as far as I can tell the look and quality is almost identical to the Staib brand. http://www.strapcode.com/store/24mm-mesh-b....html?infoBox=
Ska 11 Posted September 7, 2010 cheers mate -these actually look great! Are you getting one? If so - take some pics and post a review I'm sure there are loads of people here (myself included) who would be very interested in the quality of these.

I am 90% sure that I will be buying one, if it does come to fruition I will take pics and post a review. But warning in advance my review and pics will not be nowhere near your level Ska! gB. 0 Posted September 7, 2010 Some if these have very little mesh and A LOT of clasp and solid links. Not a very clean mesh look IMHO. Staib mesh is much cleaner look with full thick mesh and only a few removable solid links and a hidden clasp. :P

Staib mesh is much cleaner look with full thick mesh and only a few removable solid links and a hidden clasp. :P Looking at the length of the straps, I think unless you had an 8.5" wrist or larger you'd be removing almost all the adjustable links so it shouldn't be a problem. Apart from anything else, at this price point these meshes represent a very good alternative to the Staib for people who don't want to fork out as much. It does not have any additional links to remove the adjustment is done from the clasp. It adjusts down to a minimum length of 155mm which should be good for anyone that has a wrist size of at least 6 inches. Also, you can't beat the $55.99 price! http://www.strapcode.com/store/wire-mesh-b...head-p-837.html Edited September 8, 2010 by tick tock

The Staib is still a much cleaner mesh look and is higher quality, it's worth the few extra bucks. Remember, GBOGH!

tick tock 0 Posted September 8, 2010 this looks promising and its available from fleabay, anyone tried this one? Mesh I checked out their website and they do not have this band in 24mm for the SOH.
mondeov6 0 Posted September 13, 2010 Mesh arrived today.... Pretty fast delivery. Order placed sep 7. I must say I am very pleased with the bracelet. I think it fits the SOH very well and it looks good to! It is thicker, wider and heavier than the mesh I got with the watch. I do not have any "top class" mesh to compare it to but I do think this is very good value for the money. (69.99$) Some info copied from StrapCode .com: Item no. SWFJ064-24 Lug width/Buckle (mm) 24/24 Length (mm) 178mm Min.length after adjusted 130mm Buckle Stainless Steel Double Flip-Lock Diver Clasp Thickness (mm) Mesh : 4.40mm / Steel Solid Link : 4.90mm Net Weight (gram) 106gram Finish/Spring bar dia. Satin/1.80mm Lug end style Straight End Adjustment type Pin push type adjustment Material Stainless Steel, Solid+1.2 Wire Mesh Design to fit for 24mm Breitling Chrono-Matic 49 Panerai Luminor GMT Breitling Superocean Heritage All watches with 24mm lug width Some pictures...... New mesh to the left, "old" mesh to the right. I took 2 links out and adjusted the pin in the clasp two holes in to make it fit my wrist. I think it looks good on the watch!! Well..... hope this has been of some help. Have a nice evening!
