Member X 91 Posted September 8, 2010 Double Anti-Reflective coating nearly always looks good! It's a coating on the cystal that's on both sides - inside the watch and on the surface you can touch. It's quite delicate in some cases and you have to be careful not to scratch it, but it makes a big difference. Look at the pictures of the blue and black Breitling SuperOcean Heritage reps (shortened to SOH) to see good double AR! A lot of gens have it, with the notable exceptions of Rolex and Panerai that have either no AR or only have AR under the date cyclops (rolex).
AustinTech 0 Posted September 8, 2010 The AR on reps is usually pretty crappy. Usually it is just a blue film and doesn't resemble the gen AR at all.

madcatlancelot 1 Posted September 8, 2010 Some rep double AR coating are OK, I have a skyland avenger and a chronomat evo with rep double AR and it's ok. The double AR coating from modders (such as takashi), however, are a class above the rest.
AllergyDoc 40 Posted September 8, 2010 The new Super Avengers have AR as good as the gen, some say.
