PAM292 Ceramic (well brushed PVD actually), any good?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of buying a PAM292 brushed black PVD (or to use the quaint term, 'faux ceramic') from Josh

at Perfect Clones.

This would be pretty much a daily beater - I like the 6497 movement, a gen Glycine Incursore I have uses the

Swiss Unitas 6497.

My question is the durability of the PVD. I realise that brushed ss or titanium would probably be more

practical, but I do like the look of the black.

Is it usually more durable than the rose / yellow gold plating?

Does anyone have any experience with this particular model?

Can anyone offer suggestions (not that sort)?

Look forward to a wealth of spendidly informative replies !!!
