TAG Heuer - Carrera Ferrari...did this ever exist?

Recommended Posts

Hi All - Newbie here.

Just wanted to say - great forum, lots of awesome info! Can't wait to start my first purchase(s).

I'm a big TAG fan, but was wondering if anyone knew if TAG had made this "Ferrari" edition I've seen around? I'm having trouble figuring out if it was ever made? Or is this a modified version of the Calibre 17?

Was thinking about buying one of these models :)

This isn't a "Ferrari" edition. It's a Goodwood festival of speed limited edition of the Jack Heuer 80 Chrono... 2 LE's in one...

You got a link to the pic?? I know nothing of this model... However, you can clearly see the Goodwood logo on the dial.

Cheers

P.

here is a link to the GEN

http://www.calibre11.com/review-tag-heuer-carrera-jack-heuer-80-birthday/

others (i've got one from Narikaa) are fantasy models made from GEN ones

here the "Indianapolis Motor Speedway" GEN (1966)

http://www.watchonista.com/tag-heuer/watches/heuer-carrera-1

and here is mine :

(and YES : the name "Indianapolis" is mispelling as "IndianopoUs"... but to see it, you have to be really near the watch)

That's awesome. Thanks for the explanation! That Jack Heuer version is a beauty as well! Hope to see that one in the Trusted Dealers inventory some time soon :)

Trusty time sells it with a different strap, but for the one in the actual pic, a quick Google image search brings us here

Doesnt seem to be much of a TD

A pity because I love that strap...
