You're welcome mate. The aim is to have all the resources one needs for Vintage Rolexs in one place.

Vintage??? VINTAGE???

Do you want vintage??? Here are REAL vintage!

This is totally random, but I actually wearing it today. I do not wear it as often now ... I was just in the mood.

Genuine Rolex Oyster Perpetual, SS/14k-Gold, model # 1005.

Serial # 1585697

Date of manufacture: 12-August-1966

Bought new in 1967 - my uncle as a gift to me when I was 14 years.

Original Rolex Folding Case and Over-Box

Original 1967 purchase price of 220$ USD on the box ... look, you can see it.

Original Rolex Certificate of Registration Document

Original lizard strap in the foreground - never worn.

And rightly so ,1966/67 correct SS/14k-Gold Jubilee bracelet that I bought for her (used from Rolex Dealer) in the mid-1970s ... stretched beyond belief, as a rule, for these old bracelets.

See currently has genuine crocodile strap with gold deployment clasp ,that I really like. Class!

It is small by today's standards ... 34 mm. But it oozes class. My favorite watch. Very cool.

47 years and still works great. I wore it all day, he is still dead-on to my computer (NIST official U.S. time) that I have made him 12 hours ago, early this morning.

Looks like some fibers on the crystal in last pic ... it's not scratched. I forgot to clean it. I just took it from my wrist and made quick pics. )))

Don't worry, once I've finish my self imposed DIY apprenticeship, I'll be able to mod your watches...

Disclaimer: watches may no longer work, nor look anything like a watch when I'm finished with them

Disclaimer #2: Look on the bright side, at least I'll reply to your emails :D

The 6241 is gorgeous. A lovely dated look. The bezel is far more accurate than most reps too.
