This ones currently with Kenny getting a relume and regulate.

StormyNight 0 Posted June 21, 2014 Well, I *think* I like it. But time will tell. I got this too but it doesn't *really* qualify as "Vintage" I'm wearing it all today though; it's stunning!

I bought one of those a few weeks back as well Storm. Lovely watch. Unfortunately the crown and stem came out the first time I tried to set it and the rotor wouldn't work inside so it's been sent off for some work. I was a bit disappointed the crown was not an 8mm Brevet like the gen as well (I am talking about the Heritage obviously, not the Tona)

Very nice Vic... have you tried sizing the bracelet on the goldie yet? Personally, I'd rather have a root canal. My third and final goldie is en route, and this time I'm not even gonna touch the bracelet - I'm just gonna swap it out for a leather nato with gold hardware. What made you go for the gold dial instead of the black one?

StormyNight 0 Posted June 21, 2014 Well, I *think* I like it. But time will tell. Very nice Vic... have you tried sizing the bracelet on the goldie yet? Personally, I'd rather have a root canal. Not tried it yet. Just tried the watch on for a few minutes then put it on my "display shelf" unadjusted as I'm not 100% sure it's a keeper yet. My third and final goldie is en route, and this time I'm not even gonna touch the bracelet - I'm just gonna swap it out for a leather nato with gold hardware. What made you go for the gold dial instead of the black one? Would love to see a collection shot when your last one arrives, mostly to see what it looks like on something other than the bracelet. Choose the combo I did because I don't like the gold subdials or gold bezel/insert and I think gold dial/gold case/gold bracelet works best.

I bought a black leather NATO and a honey brown NATO - both with gold hardware, so we'll see how that looks. I also bought a genuine black alligator strap and a vintage tropic rubber strap like the one LHOOQ posted a pic of earlier in this thread. I have enough rolexes on bracelets so trying something different. I'll post pics when they all come in.

nyckid 0 Posted June 21, 2014 I have spent the last 1 and 1/2 hour, reading this thread…. does that make a me a weirdo or part of you guys? :( lol Here's my contribution, though: This combination of "Nato-Newman" amazes me This is one of the "most talked about" Rollies Pic quality sucks..but an A for effort :P
Ishmael 92 Posted June 21, 2014 Where did you buy the leather nato from with gold hardware? http://www.cheapestnatostraps.com The left column is the main menu; you can either click on gold NATO, or leather NATO for both silver and gold. They don't have 19mm - just 18mm and 20mm, so either shave down a 20, or thread-wrap an 18. Or just live with the small gap like I plan to do.
