Daywatch 4 Posted March 26, 2015 Thx Kemist, the dial was dull with flat lume markers so I just experimented around, some very diluted oilpaint drops/mist and satin varnish, not uniformly applied on the dial. Gives it a lot of "depth" and contrast between the varnished and unvarnished parts - but difficult to catch on pics. What got fine was the "mirror-like" case repolishing test (the one on the right), the other still needs more work. Didn´t dare to do anything else as long as I had only one but can experiment around freely now and that´s fun. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BC1221 44 Posted March 26, 2015 Slow project. So far I've just polished the polished parts. Brushed the brushed parts. Drilled out the lug holes Buffed out the plexi. I did order a Clark t22 but recently found out those won't fit a rep case.. I guess I'll find out when it gets here. May try to relume one day if I get brave enough to do the numbers.
