Lorenove06 0 Posted September 28, 2015 With a nice WatchNY or Phong bezel this 6263 would instanctly become one of my all time favourites... Yeah I'm saving up the $225 for a WNY bezel… trouble is I need TWO - one for this and one for my panda They're spendy! Ish, I get you perfectly. You are now some (big) steps forward on the path I would like to walk. Matter of fact, I'm still searching for a DW 6263 ss to start a high-end build. Ishmael 92 Posted September 28, 2015 Oh for fuck sake, I'm gonna have to buy a vintage Daytona now, thank you very much guys.... hope you're all pleased with yourselves!!! Quite pleased indeed You know my stance on this - the gold/black dial non-PN is the most classically beautiful sport watch ever IMO, but lately my allegiance has switched to the steel 6263. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it… I digress. I see you're leaning toward the Newman 6241/39? Of course you're aware of the "cartel bleed". Not a deal breaker for sure, but something to keep in mind. You once had a gold cartel PN, right? That was a smart look, but perhaps a black dial this time? Or are you planning to go hunting for a DW/Spin?
_DC_ 218 Posted September 28, 2015 Yeah I can see what you mean about the standard dial gold 6241... It was Hodinkees "reference points" video that really got me into vintage Daytonas though, and I've always favoured the Paul Newman dials for some reasons... Lorenove06 0 Posted October 29, 2015 Can you ask more for a nice ride ? A sweater, a pair of jeans, vintage Sub on nato and... just the first car I saw in my garage. Mmmh, maybe you can ask more: my picture wouldn't be complete without a nice tits & ass babe on the passenger's sit.
