J!m 289 Posted September 13, 2020 That looks pretty good! Ive seen some gen dials around lately... check for Omega sub dial hands to get white with a polished center. I like the pushers. I need some Mark I pushers for my Tudor as well. See if you can sort out a 700 crown too!

See if you can sort out a 700 crown too! These are a couple of the gen pictures I used for reference when I got the parts together, not sure if some had hands with polished centres, they came with a 702 crown tho, Its quite a low budget build tho, ebay case, yuki dial, athaya crown and a clone 7750 movement, Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

Not Mk. I pushers either. I haven’t studied this as much as mine but I still don’t think those all white hands look right. That’s not to say they aren’t right. A 702 would be good, yes. (I’m not a fan of Alan’s crowns; get a real 702 for it) I guess this model was post-73 I think one of the usual suspects (maybe WO990) has those notched pushers. Maybe it’s Ming that has the Mk. I pushers I need. I made a note somewhere...

My gen 16610 has the same crazing, just not to that extent. Bezel pip is the same color, but my tritium lume on the dial has not colored the same way and is still pretty white. In love with this one! You can buy these GMTs with ageing done by the factory - a non-TD dealer called TS-Station set up a website called TheVintagePower to sell vintage and pre-aged models. However, they’re pretty expensive, and not great quality. It’s arguably better to buy one that’s been aged by an experienced modder, or do it yourself.
