rmbp 0 Posted June 14, 2014 Hi there, been browsing for a long time and here's my virgin post. Birmingham UK greetings to you all! I am looking at a IWC Vintage AT from toro, iirc it costs $348. Anyone has one, and if so, any comments on it? Cheers!
Conex 0 Posted June 14, 2014 Welcome. Do a quick search if you haven't already mate. Pretty much all the info you would need has probably been written already. Good luck in your quest.
Monty010 1 Posted June 14, 2014 Hi rmbp. I received mine from fat panda this weekend and I'll try to post a small review tomorrow or in the next few days. But in the meantime. I think my vintage looks great. Some small tells from the gen but that's a given In this hobby.
rmbp 0 Posted June 14, 2014 Thanks lads, in fact I've done quite a bit of reading on these forums but haven't seen anyone doing an actual review of one. Most are commenting on picture and stuff like that. And Monty, glad you're enjoying it (I hope you got the black) and look forward to seeing your review
Prancuzas 0 Posted June 20, 2014 I think there are two main "problems" - date wheel font and AR (almost non existent) on the crystal. Other than that looks to be a great watch!
trombone 0 Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) I bought one two weeks ago from Sead and i like it very much. It is the updated version with the black crystal gasket and some nice A/R. Maybe the A/R is not so strong as on the gen, but for my taste, it´s strong enough. And i don´t like that heavy blue hue on gen IWC watches too. It comes with a very nice gen-like rubber strap, but sadly, it is too short for my wrist, so i put it on a "Watchboys Kevlar"-strap. The central Second Hand of the Asian 7750 is a bit jerky, but i will send it for movement service soon, because it is a keeper and i would like to wear it a lot. The rotating bezel mechanism is working a bit sloppy, but the bezel is centered very well and i don´t use such mechanism´s a lot. It´s a great watch all around! Here are two quick shots of the watch.
