A new humble Gen arrived to my doorstep

The Orient Bambino is here.

I got it on an incredible sale for only $107

I'm very happy is a fantastic watch for the price with an in house caliber. At the beginning the rotor was a little noisy but the next day it was smooth, so far a great caliber in my book and my first Orient.

That's a very nice watch, I always looked at Orient's but never pulled the trigger on them, I always ended up going Seiko, but that's a fantastic watch at an unreal price.

This baby is one cracker and they sure make good timepieces. I'm seriously looking to get a day date. I guess my problem is i've been looking out only on forums..

Thanx guys, indeed a fantastic piece actually the reserve is better than my more expensive watches with ETA movements :suck: which makes me angry to be honest.

I just cant believe what a bargain this watch is

I agree with Gran. I am seeing a lot of 50s-60s Omega in there. How is the strap?

Hey Rusty, the strap is pretty decent, genuine leather, comfortable and takes the wrist shape fairly quick. It could be better as the alligator grain imitation is not the best and it's a little shiny for my taste but overall good+

Also, a cool feature is that the dial also has a dome shape so the hands has to be curved to move freely between both domes, this is actually cool considering its price because Ive seen new watches trying to pass as vintage by adding only the crystal dome and leaving a flat dial
