Eta movement tech help: 2824 rotor fits on 2784 or no?

Recommended Posts

So I'm trying to determine if the 2824 rotor can be used on the 2784. My gut tells me no, but I can't find any definitive information.

Maybe Ssteel or others who have worked on both can chime in? I'm looking at a Tudor marked rotor for the 2824 to go onto my (non-running) 2784 movement. That way it will say Tudor on the rotor under the solid case back that no one will ever see...

Thanks in advance!

SSTEEL

Yuki states the following on his site..

Tudor replacement Rotor for Submariner 9411/0 or 9401/0 Snowflake. Can make normal ETA ... Fit for ETA 2824, 2836 and 2784 movement.

Tudor replacement Rotor for Submariner - Yukiwatch.com

Not actually tried myself.

OK Cool. Thank you! I figured if anyone knew it would be you with your collection of movements, but that link certainly was a help.
