StormyNight 0 Posted June 21, 2014 And big crown. Brevet to be exact. This was one of several new arrivals to cross the drawbridge at StormyN Towers this morning: It's a ceramic "No Date" Sub. But it's a "Heritage" one so we have "vintage" lume, red triangle bezel triangle, no crownguards and big Brevet crown. A stunning bang up to date watch with a vintage feel. Also landing on the "Welcome" mat was my gold Daytona: Apart from the fiddly-ass rivet bracelet, the frozen subdial @ 6, the incorrect dial colour and the fact that it's horrible and tinny and way too small it's actually quite nice. Might keep it yet. Since I'm getting older and going on a gold thing a bit I thought it would be a good idea to grab one of these. A Day-Date II, which is the 41mm model. Millions of options in these; batons, Roman or Arabic... You name it, you can spec it. I went with this one; just a simple classic on President bracelet: And least but by no means least this Breitling SOH v2. I've already got one of these that I bought from Pollux1 some months ago on M2M and it sits on a generic mesh. Well, this one doesn't: That's a gen Breilting mesh right there and it's magnificent compared with the rep stuff these usually come on. That's all folks! Which is your favourite? What came in for you today? What do you like or dislike about them?
Wolf359 1 Posted June 21, 2014 As I get older, gold watches attract me more and more. I used to promise myself I would never get one. I don't know why age=susceptibility to golden idols
