black263 228 Posted July 23, 2014 And it's here!! Love the watch to bits. I actually like the strap design, but the screws are a real PITA. Several just won't turn at all, and I ended up having to take two links out of the same side, as I couldn't get a single screw to turn on the other half of the bracelet, without starting to damage the screw head. Are they using impact drivers to put these bracelets together? (it doesn't help that the screwdriver slot is really shallow.).
trailboss99 996 Posted July 23, 2014 Put a bit of pressure on the other end of the pin as you unscrew it mate, they come out eventually. I also like the design but the pins suck balls.

Mr Stubbs 0 Posted July 23, 2014 Go for it Stubbsy !!Look forward to a wristie. Clarence the Bengal cat also says hello. Thanks Rod! I'll try to get a beauty shot of Stubbs and the watch. I'm sure he won't co-operate.
Mr Stubbs 0 Posted July 24, 2014 Mr Stubbs approves of this watch, I was out all evening for the in-laws 65th anniversary, weeping that I couldn't be at home adjusting the bracelet. Then I got home and spent 30 minutes weeping that one screw was welded in place. Worked around it, fits like a charm. Picture taken just now for "proof of life" but it's still dark outside and I'm off to work. Anyone who thinks a 47mm Pam is too big for their wrists will second-guess themselves. I love my big Pam and I love this watch. The bracelet wears very comfortably. I could wear this watch every day. The coated links add a tactile effect, but the s/s is so well finished it's a shame the entire bracelet isn't consistent. I like the clasp. For a blue dial, it's very purple. :coffee2: Crown on watch #207 feels solid and moves with precision. I rate it 9.5 out of 10. When I get my hands on a shark mesh and a nice croc to alternate, it will be 11 out of 10. Thank you gtwc for your spot on The List. You've made a man and his big fat cat very happy. Realism 72 Posted July 24, 2014 ^ Mr Stubbs is very lean.. doesn't look fat... might need an adjustment to the statement

Thumbtack on one end, tiny screwdriver on the other. Plus, the extra links snow have the pins screwed back in them so no chance of anything getting lost. solkryssare 109 Posted July 24, 2014 Didn't order the blue one so I'll have to find another watch for the brown strap. The black one is perfect for this watch IMO.

black263 228 Posted July 24, 2014 Mine stopped working today. Looks like the rotor may be catching on something. Manual wind feels rough too with a definite restriction every turn.

black263 228 Posted July 24, 2014 Mine stopped working today. Looks like the rotor may be catching on something. Manual wind feels rough too with a definite restriction every turn. :( I'd done my usual thing of about 20 winds to get it started, and then let the auto take over, but it looks like it just ran down to a stop. Not so good. Still, it's the first one to go wrong in 30 watches, so my averages are still fine.
Wriggles 12 Posted July 25, 2014 Mine landed today. Loving the Black, Blue so far hasn't really done it for me. Need to bite the bullet and try to get some time to resize the bracelets over the weekend so I can post some truly uninspiring photos since I can't take a photo to save my life. So far pretty impressed by them, clasps are a bit meh.
