Actually the bezel insert seems very gen-like, it's depth seems great!

The rep is a more practical stainless steel. I really don't understand the choice of Rolex of making it in white gold. Nonsense to me.

Something to do with the fact that they can't produce the Ceramic Pepsi inserts fast enough for the SS models... It's a real shame...

not a bad rep.

did a little overlay animation with a gen.

you can see the markings are slightly off but the rest is spot on.

1st frame is rep and it fades to gen.

i like to do that when i get QC pics or a M2M sales pic to see how accurate the dial is.

this one looks pretty good. obvious tell is the GMT hand being the wrong color but aside from that, the dial is almost perfect.

the bezel markings on gen is a bit bigger but really not noticeable unless sitting next to a gen.

I think the GMT hand's problem is not the colour, but the thickness: the gen is much, much thinner.

As per the bezel markings, a known problem, also for the Sub: the Gen ones are deeper and larger.

But, at the end of the day, for a 29.800 Euros difference, that's completely acceptable ;)
