10:10 Watch Repair 1 Posted July 7, 2014 I am not expert ... but I have successfully set the timing on my other watches. This is one mystery to me. I have searched and searched and cannot find answer. I will attach a pic. Watch is Rep Rolex Daytona 6263. Lever circled first pic clearly establish gross-tuning. This much I know. I moved gross-tuning lever, but it is ultra sensitive. If I just breathe on it, it will advance or slow down time by 30 seconds a day. I do not see any possibility to make fine-tuning. For example, fine-tuning lever as I saw on ETA and ETA Clone movements, does not exist. Circular contraption around jewel in the second photo - is it permitted to be turned or move to make fine-tuning? I do not want to experiment and break the watch. So I ask for help from someone who knows more than me. )) Thanks! Move regulator in pic 1. Don't touch pic 2, it's your jewel and shock setting and won't affect the regulation.
