My Franken BP IWC 5002

Recommended Posts

So i decided to franken my bp and install a gen dial....i decided to do the mod myself...i have no experience working on watches....thanks to this forum and the web for a lot of help. here how it came out.

I used dial dots to attach the dial to the movement

I used a hand press that i got of the bay to press the hands back on

I used loctite all purpose go2 glue and a pin to apply the glue to the pr hand and attach it to the dial

Now this was the hardest part for me attaching the seconds hand back on the movement....gotta be very careful here not to break the pinion...a loop is strongly recommended

I used a tooth pick with rodico on the tip to hold the hand as i lined it up with the pinion...then used a pen tip to press it on....it made a click sound once attached...for a second (no pun intended) i thought i broke it
