Should I sent mine to AndyBlue for treatment? hhmm ... choices, choices .....

AndyBlue 539 Posted February 18, 2015 Cheers Pickle - this is one on regular rotation, especially since I got John's strap! but I have to say edwinowl's vintage version looks pretty darn nice .... Should I sent mine to AndyBlue for treatment? hhmm ... choices, choices ..... Currently on CNY break... I do however have a Bic lighter, some wire wool and some undisclosed seamen left over from Saturday. .. So after the 24th, I'll make it look like it went to war... and lost. Shawnny 5 Posted March 12, 2015 Hello everyone! I own #48. It's been a great watch, but, it stopped running the other day. I've sent a few emails to Athaya, with no reply. The customer service has been horrible. When I bought it, there was a holiday going on in Indonesia. So, it didn't get shipped for 10 days. When I got it the spring bars keep popping out. Seiko bars fixed that. The strap looks good, but didn't last very long. And now, it just won't run. I can't figure out how to get the caseback off. I'm not sure if it unscrews, or if you just twist a little and it pops off or does it snap on and off. I'd really like to put a Hamilton 4992B inside. I've emailed Athaya asking how to get the back off and I've emaild him to purchase the see through back, dial and hands for the Hamilton 4992B. I've recieved no reply. Also, I'm going to need help doing this. Is there anyone out there that could help me? In in Southern California, about 45 north of Los Angeles. Thanks for any help, Shawn
