Quite a few folks seem to be very pleased with Hont's service and he is, apparently, very competitive price-wise, but I'll confess that the PM for price situation puts me off too.

 

Probably illogical of me, I know, as I wind up haggling most times I buy from Tony anyhow...

You can still browse. It's easy.. browse various dealer sites, and the forums, for watches you're interested in. When you find some watche(es) you want, you can bet Hont's price will be lower than anything else you see advertised. So you email Hont (or chat with him if he's logged into gmail at the time) and get a response within a few minutes to a day or so at most. Don't see any problem with that protocol. If you really don't like the 'no price policy' you can complain to the big dealers who threatened him for advertising lower prices

Hont ended up doing what I had hoped Chris would do - seems Chris is still struggling with his site : /

 

the no price thing makes no diff - it's just as easy to browse any other dealers site as SA said

i think chris has taken a turn for the worse. BK pulled quite a coup- basically discrediting him then

introducing the BK WM9 subs & YMs. i'd rather deal with him anyway. i never believed that qc crap

chris claimed.

I don't think he is classified as a dealer now anyway,he has taken the money and ran at RG and is banned on the other forums,so thats pretty much it for him now as being called a 'dealer' unless exactreplicas and such are dealers as well to some.
