Oris Rep any good?

Well 2nd day here i got into reps after my old man gave me this no idea if its any good any help welcome to id the watch poss movement ect all i know is its a Oris

Welcome to RWG.

 

Hands are odd looks like they forgot the lume, pearl is missing, bezel numerals look wrong font. My guess is its a cheap rep and quartz. Press one of the buttons if the seconds hand jumps round then its quartz. If it sweeps smoothly its probably a 21J Asian movement. Probably not worth a lot but hey its a start and Oris are nice looking watches.

It sweeps smoothly, all the buttons/dials work. hope all reps are as good and better its built like a tank very weighty thanks

A High quality rep will blow that out of the water .. No Comparison.

 

My advice ... Buy the Best you can afford .. you wont look back. But ! Be mindful that they are reps , and as such are subject to problems that wont occur in a Gen..

 

That said .. Do your research. read the dealer reviews and check out the websites , keep any orders to our Trusted Dealers ,and you wont go far wrong ..
