McJules 396 Posted September 12, 2014 To make it short, this movement is faulty. Who can change me this one (and supply the movement as well) to switch all that? this is the movement i have in it and i've bought this one thinking it was the same but apparently not. it can come as a partial payment as well. it's brand new and bought for 29$ including shipping
plankton 1 Posted September 12, 2014 Brother J are you trying to upgrade the movement? I use Vac, as you know but he is not cheap.

1littlegreen 1 Posted September 12, 2014 Jon, the Miyota 8215 will swap directly... It has no hack function but is dead reliable. http://www.ofrei.com/page625.html Hope this helps
GenTLe 1,510 Posted September 12, 2014 So, inside your watch you have a repairable good eta clone, and to replace it you have bought a crappy DG2813? Not the greatest idea... They are not compatible : different hands size, different spacer needed, probably also different stem height... Make the one in the watch to be serviced and repaired (ETA gen parts will fit), it's the best idea.
JSJ 0 Posted September 12, 2014 When you say it's faulty, what's wrong with the eta clone?
BC1221 44 Posted September 13, 2014 Please don't swap that clone with a 2813. That's a bad move. Get the clone serviced. Should run you around $150 bucks. More than worth it IMO. If you had a 2813 and it crapped out, sure but a clone is just as good as a eta and can be fixed.
Bobbylah 135 Posted September 13, 2014 Put the 2813 up for sale. Someone will need one.
SSTEEL 0 Posted September 13, 2014 Looking at the movement in McJules watch, its that Z2 movement, aka POS Clone.
GenTLe 1,510 Posted September 13, 2014 Looking at the movement in McJules watch, its that Z2 movement, aka POS Clone. Auch :( You're right, screws instead of dial clamps! Didn't notice. So I think the only possibility is to get a ETA clone 2836, find a date wheel that fits both the ETA and the dial date window, tight the hour hand ... Not an immediate thing... McJules, can you point out the link where you got this?
McJules 396 Posted September 14, 2014 when i bought the watch, it was supposed to be the 2813 inside, hence why i bought this movement. When i opened the watch, it wasn't the same, that's why i was asking This is where i bought the movement: http://www.perrinwatchparts.com/cat_name/watch_movements.aspx
panerai153 0 Posted September 14, 2014 You went about this backwards. If you aren't sure what you have, you should have taken a photo if the movement and posted it like you did now. The movement experts could Have told you what you have and what to do. The problem with reps today, is you have no idea what movement is inside. There have been numerous discussions on the forums about movements that aren't what they are supposed to be. AFAgetting your movement swapped, every forum has a section for repairs and modifications. All of the guys who are in those sections can do your movement swap. You can always sell the one you bought that is not correct.
sam1977 0 Posted September 14, 2014 I have a rep friendly guy in dallas that can handle it.
HWG 11 Posted September 14, 2014 get in touch with Katt - he is a TD here, and in Minnesota. He has helped me many times, and fast turn times. Certainly worth dropping him an email.
Squee 0 Posted September 14, 2014 Did you try the place that I told you about (l`Anneau d`or ) ? Im pretty sure they will do the swap for you !
GenTLe 1,510 Posted September 14, 2014 when i bought the watch, it was supposed to be the 2813 inside, hence why i bought this movement. I can bet it was reported as "New breed 2813" :( Which has really nothing to share with the Dixmond Guangzhou (DG) 2813...
Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted September 14, 2014 If this was a straight swap for swap I'd do it for you. Just supply correct clone mvmt and iI'd do the dirty work.
