JOEY172 0 Posted September 13, 2014 Hi guys, i wanna to ask you whats the best way to clean a stainless Steel bracelet, especially in between links , where sometimes some dark dust/sweat builds up. Are there any particular tools i can use that fit easly in those tight spaces? And also what kind of product to use to keep the whole watch nice and shiny? sconehead 5 Posted September 13, 2014 Ultrasonic cleaner and then some wd40 to make it smooth again! ...agreed on the ultrasonic, a cheapie one will suffice...warm water and a few drops of washing up liquid, program a few cycles and voila...squeaky clean...I personally don't use wd40, but Pedro's Ice Wax chain lube... I'm not using WD40 too but it does the job. Best results you get from the Durex collection. You can even choose your own flavour!!! Banana is my favorite. SSTEEL 0 Posted September 14, 2014 I disassemble a bracelet as much as I can, then ultrasonic clean everything for 10 minutes @28c, and then, usually with really dirty bracelets, I find that the ultrasonic cleaner has cleaned most away, but some stubborn dirt is still there, but is softened, so then use a toothbrush, and some Never Dull. Once the bracelet is completely clean, I then start to refinish it with a series of glass paper, and scotch pads, depending on the required finish.
