dave47 6,547 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) IT'S FRIDAY!! For today, this Seiko Diver 6309 w/ Pepsi bezel I purchased from John in the Philippines last month (eBay) & arrived two days ago. Couldn't figure out how to deal with the rolled steel links, so some mates were very helpful in giving me tips when I asked. In the meantime, I put it on the last micro-adjustment holes & so far, so good. Nice watch, substantial eye-catcher. Just love Seikos. dave: Edited September 20, 2014 by dave47
dave47 6,547 Posted September 20, 2014 Going to get my new Olivier Bronzo from watchmaker. The date wheel was buggered. I have to say Roland was nice and offered to take it back and fix it in California..I elected to fix it locally, Roland is sending me $50 for partial refund. Now, THAT'S one classy RWG member, N. Cheers to him for being so ethical. dave
dave47 6,547 Posted September 20, 2014 THAT'S a nice looking Pro Diver, gold. I have one, too; and, yes, it's been mistaken for a Rolex Sub, believe it or not. Nice rugged watch. dave

Mwhitetx 0 Posted September 20, 2014 Archived to the collection. Long a waited and final got the email from Toro saying he had found one. This watch looks great. How is the band? What did you give Toro to source it? Thanks mate! The bracelet feels great and the AR and dial might be the best part. I just sent toro an email explaining what I was looking for with a picture and when he found one he sent me an email letting me know It was in stock.

I know this watchmaker - now I feel the watch is tip top.
