sammysmiths 41 Posted October 18, 2010 I bought this watch a few months ago and the date has stopped clicking over at midnight. It will move if I unscrew the crown and manually click it over but otherwise it just stays put. Any ideas? http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...ic=6624&hl=

Needs to be stripped to see what's wrong. I would only strip it if you know what you are doing.
Tressles61 0 Posted October 18, 2010 Before you go spending lots of $$$ on repair keep in mind a genuine ETA 2836-2 is only $130 bucks. A watchsmith would put it in for $50 bucks if you're not a DIY'er. You'll have a nice dependable Sub after that. Once you're done with that go on down to Quiznos and treat yourself to a Classic Italian Sub. Compare the two and you will see a noticeable difference - one is edible. Very tasty... indeed. BustedFlush 0 Posted February 6, 2011 Just chiming in to say that I think I have the same watch, and I certainty have the same issue - so now I'm wondering if that's a coincidence or a problem with this edition. I can manually change it all day long, but it never changes over on it's own.
