plankton 1 Posted September 25, 2014 I now am sure J12 finishes a watch like no other. Here is my review of my new J12 44mm Blue Dial ROO. Dial color- 98 percent, looks really nice in light might be a hair more reflective Tapestry- excellent AR- best I have ever seen on a rep Rep Strap- Better than we have seen but I did take it off and install a AP Bands Movement- I'm really impressed here, this is as smooth as I have seen even after a movement mod / service. 4 spd slow and a beautiful flat line running at an amplitude of 297 Lume- Best I have ever seen! My overall impression is this certainly is the best out of the box (quality) AP I have bought to date. I had plans to send this to Vac today but might actually hold off for a month or so, it's that good. **update** I went ahead and sent it to Vac for some work, it will be a keeper for a while! With everything you've written.... I will have to get one....going to wait till J12 Schumi or 42mm Navy are out though.... save some pennies on postage.... Any Advice? I have never had one die on me. I think they are more reliable these days and I usually have Vac do a service when I'm doing the AR and lume on them. I have had 5 of these 44mm's and all have been quite sharp (J12 and , IMO the J12 is better and my modder seems to prefer working on the J12 as well for some reason.
