James. 4 Posted October 3, 2014 Rep trades can be seen as an easy scam really. People aren't going to go to the police. I was banned over on RWI because I sold a watch on the Wednesday night, and didn't send it until Friday as I was travelling back from Aurangabad, India with a stop off in Yaas Island. The buyer received it on the Saturday tracked obviously but during that time created a post about the sale. I had my LinkedIn, name, email, bank details all published. Then a twitter account set up about how I was a scammer. My WIFE was emailed on Facebook. All for a £130 PAM 111 and 2 extra days waiting. This hobby brings out the worst in people because we all have zero patience. I don't need to prove that I am a trusty seller on here (or RG) - you just have to search my username to find my previous sales feedback. But as long as what we do is illegal, all of us are a target. Um, this whole personal of impatience you mention is unfortunately not only limited to those who frequent rep fora, but everywhere online, I guess it comes from having everything at your finger tips, a lot of peoples patience and common sense decrease exponentially. IMO it sounds like a stupid move, selling a piece while traveling and sounds like you didn't communicate about your absence.

To go over the in's and out's - i did communicate it, and mention it in the sales thread. The buyer was emailed directly and was looking at his RWI inbox. It was entirely his fault. Nnilswerdna 5 Posted October 3, 2014 Ouch, so the RG crew is stupid? It was RWI, and it wasn't RWI verified members, it was the buyer.
DR3M3L 4 Posted October 3, 2014 Ouch, so the RG crew is stupid? It was RWI, and it wasn't RWI verified members, it was the buyer. RWI doesn't ban people without any evidence. I caught someone selling with profit a while ago and had to deliver all kind of evidence before they banned the member. Still smells like shit.
HeavyKrush 16 Posted October 11, 2014 Crap. Another one bites the dust. Had a few transactions with Kevin with no issues. Clearly not in the know on the full circumstances leading to his demise but a shame he couldn't get his shit together.
Pseudonym 0 Posted October 14, 2014 Damn it. I'm saddened to see this. Kev was, from my experience; a straight shooter. I think it just goes to show you that sometimes, even those with the best intentions get caught up in a shit storm of their own. P.

profsteve 3 Posted October 27, 2014 Even though Kevin has had problems and his income from watch repairs has fallen as a result of being banned, he has tried to work with me to get the parts to fix the AP I sent him about 5 months ago. Tonight I finally had it with promises and just told him to return my watch. I will let you all know when that is returned- and I am certainly hoping that it will be returned. At this point I have no reason to believe that it won't be. If any other members have watches with Kevin and have not has them returned it might be good to know that. What did I find mate?......Did I find multiple accounts registered after your ban?.....Did I find you replying to yourself in your own thread using a different user name?.....I really couldn't say. Curious to know if you received your watch back? Have not received my watch nor any correspondence- someone earlier here said he was doing business on another forum under the same moniker- I assume he means "1littlegreen" If anyone knows that is he working on another forum I would like to know the forum and his user name so I can contact him there. As far as I am concerned after this long, he has stolen my watch. I don't think that any of us take kindly to having anything "stolen" from us, and I think that anyone planning on doing business with him on any forum should know about this. I am in the same boat with still not having mine back from him either. I have been trying to get ahold of him. But, I think he has finally ceased emailing me back. Too bad as I think he got in over his head, but I have been patient enough.
Cheesemonger 0 Posted November 18, 2014 Just sent my last email to him today. Guess I will have to write these off and just keep an eye on m2m sales on all of the other fora to see if they show up for sale.
