Nightwatch 1 Posted October 19, 2010 Winding Stem: The 190 is a big movement and has a powerful 8 day spring. I didnt feel the original Angelus stem which had been turned down to fit the crown was up to the job, therefore a new stem was made. Below is an image of the stem and crown, in the background is a DSN EGI Crown which shows just how thin the stem has to be to fit the DSN Crown....The new stem and crown has been turned from a small stainless steel bar so that the stem and crown are now one piece of metal.... it should last the life of the watch or longer... Strap is by Donerix It was decided that the EGI would look better aged. Heres how it turned out I removed the old Lume which is a liitle greenish and replaced with an off-white lume which is not too bright and not too dull either...(was it Lou who offered this tip? anyway thanks to whoever posted this tip...) Crown Guard has been aged.... its also been re-shaped at the edges The Old and the New Back of the case as also been aged, inside is the 190 cal Angelus Movement
