xlc 0 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) Hello! Here's my PAM390 Noob Factory Best Version purchased last week. I really appreciate your feedback to confirm it's indeed a Noob version. I've spotted a flaw which I'll try to point out later -- it's hard to see in the pictures. < Edited October 1, 2014 by xlc
timetobuyawatch 0 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) i have that excact same watch on my wrist right now. its very hard to see on your pictures, on your rear pic, you left out the gaps on the rear of the CG which could help us as well. im wondering about this post though, are you unhappy with the watch? anf if its important for you that we give a good jdugement, you dont evne clean the watch before taking pictures, nor taking specially good ones? the lettering dont look the same on the back as my watch though, lettering on mine looks more precise and thinner. but it might just be your picture? edit2: no its def not the same. "best version"? better to ask him what revision the watch is... mine was bought say 5 months ago oslt and was suposed to be laters ver.. ur lucky im in my home office today and waiting for a client so i took the time to do a proper pic of the back of mine: its really different Edited September 1, 2015 by timetobuyawatch

timetobuyawatch 0 Posted October 1, 2014 i think op is trying to figure out if its a noob or not. i did a pic of the front for you to compare as well. but the rear of the CG is a good tell.
xlc 0 Posted October 1, 2014 Sorry for the dust in the pictures, I couldn't find a wipe last night and I was afraid to use paper towel or anything else. I will clean it and take additional pictures. Please don't get me wrong, I do like the watch but I want to confirm I've received what I paid for which was the Noob Best Version.

ex660 0 Posted October 2, 2014 what's the different for Noob's Best Version compared to gen ? not that i am aware of, after rounds and rounds of reading thru forums.. yet to me, hand wound PAMs are the closest to gen and this 390 is 1 of the watch that i like most in my collection.. perry 0 Posted October 4, 2014 The inside cutout of the CG shows that this is a noob. I doubt the factories or any of the dealers are carrying anything other that the latest version.

Thanks for your feedback, perry! I will take more pictures once I pickup the lens I just bought. I'm also learning about the light conditions... There's someone here really good at it but I forgot his username (I will follow his instructions).

Pavo 0 Posted October 7, 2014 I like that tan asso strap it looks very good. I have a darker brown asso strap that was shipped with my pam 339m KW but it looks no where near as nice as that strap. Maybe tempted to ask Toro for that strap.
wanlo 0 Posted October 11, 2014 So why don't you tell us what you think it's wrong about the watch, and how it might be different from the `best` version
