Luthier 1 Posted October 20, 2010 Promised to Bob Bean to search for straps, and to Robert to search for movements. Found everything and even more. OK, from the beginning... Here's straps, and the guy has dials. Then I found a guy, who has tons of movements parts. And then the blast begins... I found A7750, Swiss ETA 2824, ETA2836, clones, and tons more. Bought one for myself, just in case... Don't ask me the prices, you'll kill me.
Luthier 1 Posted October 20, 2010 And here's my first acquisition... GORGEOUS IWC with tourbie on the back. I even forgave them misspelling of word "eghteen"... And beautiful PP, with fantastic dial. Enjoy!!!

Aren 27 Posted October 20, 2010 Hi Luthier...great watches, congratulations! The simplicity of the IWC is pure elegance! It is just gorgeous, and the shear beauty of the Patek is absolutely stunning. If all the functions of the multi-purpose watches are not needed, IMO less is more, especially in a dress watch. Although I really like all of the watches, including the watches with really complicated functions and appearances... The Patek doesn't look complicated even though it has a lot going on. Personally, these dress watches are very appealing to me. These are the type of watches that are understated (even with all of the functions, especially of the Patek) and they have that pulled together look and one feature does not jump out and dominate another. The eye is not distracted. The bezel doesn't draw attention away from the face. To me these watches whisper "sophistication" and don't scream "look at me!" I hope you post some wrist photos too. Thanks for the pictures. Just lovely!
KBH 7 Posted October 20, 2010 Luthier, Why don't you ask and see if there are any DG4813 movements available with the high canon pin, suitable for Rolex replacements. I'll buy a bunch from you at a decent price.
prestigewatchco 2 Posted October 20, 2010 They are not KBH I have had a 1000 on order since December last year and can't get any. OS also has been trying for months to find them .Think they are out of production
offshore 0 Posted October 20, 2010 Confirmed! There is a minimum production run, no matter what the "agents" try to tell you, so until someone ponies up to some big numbers...like 10K + there will be none around. Wouldn't expect to see them in GZ markets, but you do see some unusual bits there, so I wouldn't discount the fact that one of the little guys has a few from the end of a run...Just need to find him! Luthier 1 Posted October 20, 2010 Saw tons of DG2813, price - 23 yuan, around $3.

Luthier 1 Posted October 20, 2010 Guys, now Robert has all information on movements. Contacts, names, etc. So, all questions to him, please. I'm 100% sure there's many DG4813 too, girl said she can supply ANY movements. She's from factory.
seclark007 11 Posted October 20, 2010 So, ah, WOW Does this mean we're going to be seeing some new offerings soon?! If we ever decide to do a RWG "get-together" I suggest that place.... Sean
Luthier 1 Posted October 20, 2010 Here's wrist shots. IWC is bloody huge, 46mm, but thin. Patek is 43mm, and normal thickness. Ofcourse, both watches will get new, softer straps. Love both!!!
Akira 0 Posted October 20, 2010 You must have a 10" wrist Edit: Looks very nice though
speedzmaster 0 Posted October 20, 2010 This brings a new meaning to the word "cheapies." I like the IWC....though, that is not a tourbillon.
