N.Rico 1 Posted October 6, 2014 those are awesome watches for the money they cost . yours is beautiful . i have an eye in this one http://www.steinhartwatches.de/en/OCEAN-One-Vintage,817.html
dhistory 0 Posted October 7, 2014 I once sold a gen Oris to a guy "upgrading" from a Steinhart. I didn't have a clue what that was. Now, I'm really interested in a pilot or an Ocean One Pepsi GMT. Nice addition to your collection. Your gen bezel insert will certainly cover the cost of the whole watch alone.
BuiltTough 0 Posted October 9, 2014 Very nice, TC replaced.........
MetalMickey 179 Posted October 9, 2014 How does it hold up against the TC, then?
mostling 40 Posted October 9, 2014 It's a keeper, i like that the crystal is AR'd, the face is a tiny bit bigger and the bracelet is wider hence making the watch heavier which i also like. I'll probably be selling the TC and a few others during the weekend, just need to find time to take pictures of them.
MetalMickey 179 Posted October 9, 2014 I have my eyes on one of the vintage ones, but just bought a TC so will see how I get on with that first.
watch101 0 Posted October 10, 2014 Great pics! The first real good view of the Steinhart Green Ocean1 that I have seen!!! I may have to purchase one. My Steinhart GMT Ocean1 keeps great time and I've no problems with it at all. Was surprised how amazing it looks and I've had a few people comment on it already. My only area for improvement would be on the Super Luminova C1 dial markers...they seem to fade a bit faster than the hour and minute hands. In all though I would have to say it's one of best watches for the money! No regrets what so ever!
pizikylin 0 Posted October 10, 2014 Great pics and nice watch. I am also considering getting a TC with gen insert or getting a steinhart. Since you have both in hand, would.you mind to share your thoight on this?

pizikylin 0 Posted October 10, 2014 lol, I just saw your reply after I sent out mine. I am using tapatalk so have to flip pages of the reply. Anyway, I am more curious why you choose steinhart over TC. To me, TC is already good enough especially with the Gen insert. Steinhart is a great watch but it is still a clone sub and not as close as TC to the gen ones.
mostling 40 Posted October 10, 2014 Basically because i'll probably get rid of all my reps, not really looking to have a watch that is as close to the original as possible, just want a watch i like with a good movement and actually have a warranty.
