Fred Mertz 0 Posted October 23, 2010 I purchased a Yacht Master from Robert (it is great) and foolishly decided to check and see if there were any engravings between the lugs. I removed the bracelet very quickly with a Bergeon Spring Bar Tool and simply cannot get them back on. I am having trouble getting both ends of the spring bar into the holes -- I can only seem to get one. They spring bars do not appear to be bent and I can get them in fine without the bracelet. Any helpful hints or tips for this? Thanks!
prestigewatchco 2 Posted October 23, 2010 Not the easiest band to refit when you have tight fitting end links it is always difficult to refit bands. The way to do it is to fit from back with spring bar in place then get one side inside the lug but not in the hole then get the other inside and move the band end link until it finds the holes. You may need to help the one side by getting a screw driver behind it and forcing it toward the hole. This is close to impossible to do with the band complete so you need to unscrew a link and split the band
