Mr Happy 1 Posted October 16, 2014 Well here I am six months in with an over flowing watch box and more en-route. I thought I'd share a quick pic of my collection as it sits. Group pic 288 - Martu Leather ostrich with white stitch And Martu Leather ostrich with black stitch 111 on Nero Straps vintage strap - thanks to JohnG Omega Sea-master Ulysee Nardin Blue Surf M2M courtesy of ShovelnTC Bracelet and 22mm Zulu BP Yachtmaster mid for the wife Stainless Steel Carbon Ceramic Patek Nautilus - insired by DC's review Explorer II What I've learned so far 1. RWG is full of great information and the search bar more often than not answers my queries. 2. Don't expect perfection from a rep, however TC's V6 sub is freakin' close! 3. Rep straps are shite, go custom if you can - it's been worth the wait and money and really sets the piece off. 4. Not all TD's are created equal. (no further comment) 5. JohnG is a gentleman and makes a killer strap - just don't click any links he posts in section 8! 6. Don't buy a PAM before reading ALE7575's guide - http://www.replica-w...5.html?t=107365 - he is a passionate guy and eager to help noobs like me 7. Patience is the key when dealing with any TD. 8. I've still got a lot more to learn and no watch collection is ever complete...........

Mr Happy 1 Posted October 16, 2014 Nice collection, and quite a substantial one too considering only six months. You need a bigger box :P Thanks Micky, I have to hold myself back from buying too many - I'm thinking more along the lines of a display case to replace the box so I can look at them all the time.
