Thanks for the review. One of my favourite Omegas, need to get one soon..

Neither am I, much more of a Breitling kind of guy myself but this one is truly a watch to love as well as admire even for cynical old me :)

Some guys have reported that their movements are very loud. Is this the case with yours?

The Miyota is "audible" more so than a 2824, however it keeps immaculate time and unless you are as anal retentive as me,,,,, you'll never hear it :)

Love the classic look - could have been made any time in the last 60 years with that style!

Anybody notice that Toro has two versions now? One with the "black" bracelet and one with the "V6F Best Edition" bracelet. I can't really tell a discernible difference between the two.

Hi

Mine is quite loud, if your hand is leaning on your chin then you really notice it. Those screws are devils to put back in, but its a lovely looking watch and keeping good time.

Thanks

John

Looks like the lume colors are different. The 'black bracelet' has a really dark blue color, but correct pearl color.

How do i stop the second hand from moving when setting the time? When i pull the crown out to the set time position, the second hand keeps on ticking. Is this meant to happen?

you can't. The movement doesn't hack.

hi all

:-)

gotten this piece after a year or so of not buying rep.

must say this watch quite excellent in many ways.

great dress watch for me

while the bezel clicks excellently, the insert is a tad off. from some pic here, I wonder if it's the same for some of us too?

or is it just a ' optical illusion '

Geez..I love the looks of this one and I'm seconds away from pulling the trigger. It's just that I'm used to watches with the diameter of at least 44mm (PAM243 being my favorite of all) and I'm scared this one would be to tiny for my 17,5cm wrist. Any comments from the owners on how it wears? Is it a very small watch? Or is it just right? Feels very lightweight? My other choice is the PAM448, which is the exact opposite, I know.. Ah, decissions, decissions.. :)

17.5cm = 6.9in which is not considered large. The watch wears larger than its stated 41mm size due to the following:

1. The dial opening is 31mm and the markers are pushed to the outside of the dial.

2. The lugs are long in relation to the case.

Here's a picture of it on my 7" wrist.

Thanks for your reply, just what I needed, highly appreciated. I think it must be done, trigger be pulled I mean :) Lovely watch, it sits on your wrist perfectly and it looks very classy! And your nickname just reminded me of one of my favorite rap artists, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, gotta go dig in my crates for his CDs :) Thanks again!
