Balad1 0 Posted October 30, 2010 Any ideas as to availability of a rep of this watch and where to purchase it? Seamaster written in red and blue wavy dial face that matches bezel color; current version of gen.
KBH 7 Posted October 30, 2010 Check Mary's section. She had a nice version of that listed a couple of months ago as I recall. There are lots of not so good versions easily available.
NFleischer 4,355 Posted October 30, 2010 ReplicaMake has a nice CHRONOGRAPH version for $208. A very good deal.
Balad1 0 Posted October 30, 2010 Thanks guys, Mary doesn't have this version and I don't want the GMT or Chronograph models.
greg_r 81 Posted October 30, 2010 If Mary can't get it, chances are that there isn't a rep available at present - she can get almost anything that's made. Worth asking around the others, though, just in case - I'd drop Lay from ReplicaMake a PM. If he comes up with nothing, then I'd say that confirms nobody will... NFleischer 4,355 Posted October 30, 2010 Check Perfect Clones. Josh has a very similiar, if not the exact same one, listed for $258.(Omega Mens Seamaster section, page 3) Not sure its in stock.
KBH 7 Posted October 30, 2010 Sure looks like the one she's got listed. http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=3200 Of course this doesn't mean it's still available.

turnipz 0 Posted October 30, 2010 One problem with them is the HE valve being in the wrong spot, marys one was correct from what I remember.
Balad1 0 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) Did you look at Josh's? It has the updated red lettering. It is the closest I've seen; the only issue I can see is that the dial face isn't the same color as the gen. The rep he sells almost look likes it has a black dial vs blue. http://www.1-pc8838.com/omse10002-seamaste...pda-p-6805.html Edited October 31, 2010 by Balad1

warcelo 0 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) Hello! Everything you need is here at this review: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...celot+seamaster As you can see this version have too many flaws, so i would buy this one: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=3200 and put a gen dial with the red seamaster! ( you can purchase a gen dial at http://www.ofrei.com/page665.html ) Cheers! Edited October 31, 2010 by warcelo

rychastings 0 Posted October 31, 2010 Does anyone know how correct Lawrence's is? His 21j model seems accurate enough as it has the red text http://houseofsouvenirs.com/omega/seamaster/omega_279.htm

Luthier 1 Posted October 31, 2010 Seamaster not written in Red and wrong color with no wavy pattern on the dial. The photo I posted is from Omega's website. Thanks for the help everyone. Dial on Mary's watch has perfect wave pattern, I just bought one.
Luthier 1 Posted October 31, 2010 Josh's dial is same color as Mary's, dark blue color, and wrong placement of HE valve, Lawrence too. Mary's HE valve is in correct place.

NFleischer 4,355 Posted October 31, 2010 My friend; get the one you like. These are reps- none are perfect. We are talking about WIS (watch idiot savant points). Most people do not stare at your watch and notice that the color is abit off or a screw is 1mm up or down. They don't know the difference, they never heard of most watches we obsess over. One thing personally, Lawrence's version has mineral (glass) crystal much less durable than sapphire.
warcelo 0 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) NFleischer is right. But if you want a perfect 300m SMP, because you can´t live with flaws, i would get Mary´s SMP with right He position, chance the dial for this one: ( http://www.ofrei.com/page1105.html#10399 ), the hands, the clasp and the insert links. Or you can do like i did, get the Mary's Chronometer version cuz it´s almost flawless. ( mine did not arrive yet ) http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=7613 Cheers!
