plankton 1 Posted November 12, 2014 You guys know that over the past 2 years I've ordered and M2M'd a ton of watches, several gen Rolex included. Other than my gen DSSD I have never been so impressed with a watch for my tastes. Actually for the price I paid ($1300), I'm totally over-impressed, just a couple of extremely minor imperfections but clearly not noticeable under normal magnification- nice. If this was truly represents what this company makes on a regular basis I would be out of line not recommending them. The attention to detail on this watch is better than all but 1 of the gen Rolex's I've purchased. It exceeds my gen German's by a significant degree. The ETA 2824 was perfectly tuned. You guys know me, I get everything out to tune a watch before it hits my wrist, I almost sh-t myself when I put it on the timeograph, fricking on at 3 angles (don't know how, it's an ETA 2824). If exposed to light at an angle you end up with this blue colored face; not my pic (disclosure)

plankton 1 Posted November 12, 2014 Love it or hate it, but this watch is definitely unique. Looks indestructible but has style, great tool. Exactly, I looked at these guys for some time and it took a really long time to grow on me. I thought about ordering the smaller crystal but for now I think I will wear it as is. I look for precision made stuff, I have to say everything is really precise with this guy (bezel clicks perfectly, markers line up perfectly, case-back threads are fine and smooth as silk). I think I might order one of the custom builds they offer it this is an example of the stuff they build.
Jooost 0 Posted November 12, 2014 Great design! And what a waterproofing that watch has... Enjoy your purchase
TheSav 2 Posted November 12, 2014 Love that crystal. The case will look much better after a little patina imo. I've got a H2O orca and am very impressed with its quality as well. So much so I ordered the upcoming CH8. Great pics as usual btw

So much so I ordered the upcoming CH8. Great pics as usual btw I'm gonna do the same. Isn't it crazy that Rolex (as crazy expensive as they are) can't seem to make the tolerances as perfect as some of the micro watchmakers in Germany???? I just put up my Vac modded Tudor BB to help fund the CH-8.

plankton 1 Posted November 12, 2014 Note- I did order the mid-domed crystal after wearing it for a couple of hours. It's just a matter of time before it gets hit.......

Haltec 0 Posted November 13, 2014 Watch is really remarkable piece of watch. Clasp is beautiful. But... Don't get this other thing - Leather&Water ??? I allready asked myself that due to all the Pams... I even don't care about look's regarding the weting the leather, but leather have one spec regarding drying... It tightens. A lot. Anyone actually went to dive with such leather strap/band ??? Thx.

plankton 1 Posted November 19, 2014 reminds me Corum Bubble and a UFO of course Ughhhh---------------- where do you get that. Yes both have a spherical crystal but I don't see any further. This is a bronze masterpiece taken straight from Rolex DSS 40-50 years ago. It's all good... Anyhow I still love it, actually did order the lower crystal though.... plankton 1 Posted November 20, 2014 Love the dial but the crystal is a bit bonkers for my taste!! yes it's big. I've got the lower one coming but that drops the WP rating down to 3000 meters.
